English abstract :
Cyclic Voltammetry is one of the most common electroanalytical chemistry techniques. However, there is one pitfall that is often overlooked because it isn’t often taught to researchers and students. This pitfall is nonother than solution resistance and the corresponding iR drop in produces in a cyclic voltammetry experiment. In this webinar, we will go over the fundamentals of cyclic voltammetry, but focus on how solution resistance can distort your voltammogram and what you can do to correct it.
Pine Research Instrumentation develops and manufactures electrochemistry research equipment. Pine Research Instrumentation has a rich history with the electrochemistry community as being the first US company to commercialize electrode rotators back in the 1960s. From these humble beginnings Pine Research Instrumentation has grown to offer a wide range of electrochemistry products including potentiostats, rotators, electrodes, electrochemical cells, and other accessories.
